What we collect

Account data. Your email address, a password hash if you use password sign-in (we never store passwords in plain text), and the list of companies you follow.

Communication records. A log of which alert emails we have sent, when, and to which address, so we never send the same alert twice.

Technical data. Logs strictly necessary to operate the service, such as sign-in events and error logs.

We do not collect browsing data for marketing purposes and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we process it and on what basis

We use your data solely to provide the service: managing your account, sending email alerts about insider transactions at companies you follow, and keeping the service secure and functional.

The legal basis is contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): we process this data to deliver the service you signed up for.

Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies (session cookies for sign-in). No advertising or analytics cookies.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure site usage. It is cookieless and doesn't collect identifying data about individual visitors — it produces only anonymized, aggregated page-view statistics.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. We use the following processors on our behalf:

  • Neon (database, EU region)
  • Resend (email delivery)
  • Vercel and Render (hosting)

Some processors may process data outside the EU/EEA; such transfers rely on the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account or request erasure, we delete your personal data without undue delay, at latest within 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, and erase your data, to object to processing, and to data portability. Contact info@vireomarkets.com to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman, tietosuoja.fi).

Every alert email contains an unsubscribe link that works without logging in.
